Sichuan Dongfang Insulating Material Co., Ltd is the biggest electric
insulating manufacturer in China. There are more than 1600 employees
including 400 professional engineers and technicians in our company.
The employees with the degree of post doctor, doctor and senior engineer
are more than 50 persons.
Dongfang has established the Postdoctoral program and the State
authorized Technology Center under sanction. Now, the Technology Center,
which includes 8 special research institutes engaged with the research and
development of PP film, PET film, rigid laminated products and molding
compounds, electrical motor and generator equipment insulating material,
varnishes and resins, special modified engineering plastics, is the most powerful special research and development institution of insulating
material in China. Dongfang also respectively established insulating
material united scientific research bases with Chemistry Institute of Chinese
Academy of Science and Sichuan University to research advanced and
significant projects. At the same time, Dongfang keeps long term cooperation with other famous universities in China, such as Xi`an Jiaotong
University, Donghua University, East China University of Technology,
which make Dongfang has an excellent technical development system and
continuous developing capability.
Dongfang has more than 100 kinds of electrical insulating materials, which thermal resistances are from E to C, cover insulating impregnating varnishes/resins, wire enamels, rigid laminated sheets and molded products electrical thermosetting molding compounds, modified engineering plastics, electrical mica products, polyester film, polypropylene films, flexible
laminates and non-woven fabrics. Early or late, nine product lines and their advanced technology including electrical polyester film and polypropylene film have been introduced into Dongfang from Japan, Germany, Britain, Austria and France，which obviously improve product structure and technical level. Dongfang’s products are widely used for generating equipment, electrical motor, high and low voltage switch, power capacitor, household electric appliance.
The product trademark was registered as Dongfang. Company has gained
latest ISO9001 and ISO10012 certificate. Many of products have been
certified by UL and SGS. The main products are produced according to
current international standards.
Dongfang has built more than 30 sales and service centers in China and
trade relationship with more than 40 countries and regions in the world.
